The Communicators

I can only manage my end of the computing with the sure knowledge that in the background there are very good people supporting me. To start there is The Clyde Computing Centre of Glasgow who build my machines and there my contact is Greg who has helped me for over ten years. When software matters go very wrong I invariably call either on Elaine Calderwood to bring her wizardry into play; take a look at her web pages at www.elainecalderwood.netfirms.com and see just what she can do. Or I call on my blind colleague Kelvin Marsh who's skill with a PC astounds me. Recently, Brian Say another visually impaired old colleague came all the way from New Zealand to talk and who from a liftimes' work with software lifted the spells off my machine so that it goes a lot better now. Finally I must mention my good friend Gavin McGerrow who flies to my aid and links me to inaccessible places with his hardware.
